The competitions list had just been updated. A new set of list has also been uploaded: the interested participation and the confirmed paticipation. Please check that everything has been updated and if your name is not there, please approach Ms Guo to verify before updating Yiting.
Please also note that CCA records are keyed in based on the submitted entries that we received and not the interested participation. Those who have not participated in ANY competition, please commit yourselves to participate in at least one competition, preferably a photo competition before end October and inform the teachers and Yiting to update the lists.
Please verify your doubts thoroughly.

You should already look through your CCA records by now. Please note the various entries in your CCA record and write down the missing entries or amendments to be made for 2009 under the various categories and return them to Ms Guo.
Ms Guo will only be able to make changes in the system once the amended claim is verified with some evidence, especially for competition entries - under Representation for School. Other amendments include photography/videography support for big events in the school such as Speech Day, Sports Carnival, etc with comes under CIP. Not everything you claim in the record will be awarded or has points. Please check with the respective teacher-in-charge for the various events or points system.
At the moment, Ms Guo is only able to make changes for 2009. Any amendment to be made for the years before 2009 (eg. 2007 and 2008), Ms Guo will have to verify, collate and submit a request to the HOD CCA for approval before it can be added.
Please do note that:
- Changes to other matters NOT relating to Infocomm Club such as Other-CCA Leadership roles such as Chairperson, Sports Carnival and Mass Run participation, you have to see HOD CCA personally for the amendments before your CCA certificate collection deadline.
- If you have a second CCA such as AV Club or Basketball, please see the first teacher-in-charge for the respective CCA to make the amendments.
- Other competitions or enrichment programmes participated outside of Infocomm Club, please see the teacher-in-charge of the competition or enrichment programme to make the amendments.
Hence, Ms Guo will be returning the CCA records next
Wednesday 16 Sep to those who need to look for the other respective teachers to amend the entries in the CCA records. Please get the respective teachers to sign against the amended entries and return it to you on the spot. They will key in the entries for you. If you need the records earlier due to whatever reason, please get them from Ms Guo from Monday onwards.
Once all amendments are made, all CCA records MUST be returned to Ms Guo personally by

CCA Attendance
Posted on: Wednesday, September 2, 2009
Posted at: 5:40 PM
As you already know the main bulk of the attendance falls within these two months. Please ensure that you attend CCA. It is very easy to fall below 50% and risk the ENTIRE CCA record being wiped out. Thus, please kindly show your brotherly or sisterly love by encouraging your fellow club-mates to come for CCA whenever you see them around. :)
Please also check your attendance record with the teachers whenever you are present, especially when you do not turn up for certain sessions due to one reason or another as the records we have will be taken as FINAL. If you do not turn up, please ensure that the teachers are informed and provide a letter or MC whenever possible.
For the Sec 2s, please attend CCA after your swimming session. For the Sec 3s, please inform and remind the CCA teachers on the extra lessons or exams that you may be having on certain days. Whenever possible, come back for CCA. For all levels, please ensure that it is a valid reason and do check with the teachers whenever you are unsure.
For all CCA sessions on Wednesdays, if the sessions start at 2.00pm, lower Sec members are expected to turn up on time and upper Sec members are given until 2.30pm to have their lunch as their lesson ends later.
From tomorrow onwards, training will be embarking on Webpage designing applying HTML and CSS coding in Adobe Dreamweaver and later integrating Photoshop pictures and Flash animations. Will probably need all of you to host the webpage on one of the free hosting servers. More details will be out tomorrow. Please stay tuned. :)
